If you are coming to the South of Finistere, do not miss the Glenan’s archipelago! From April until September, choose your date of departure and navigate by boat from Benodet, Concarneau, Loctudy, Pors-la-Forêt or Beg Meil in the direction of Saint Nicholas, the main island of the archipelago. The Odet River
“People do not simply come to see the Odet. They lose themselves in it.“ This cruise on Odet reveals how marvelous this river and its protected nature are. Take a look on the woody banks, essentially crashed by oaks and by sweet chestnut trees. Their silent growing reminds us how magical the nature can be. In May and June, the connoisseurs will recognize magnificent massifs of wild rhododendrons. The bank, between Pors Meillou and Pors Gwin, is litteraly invaded by these flowers and takes an attractive purple color. A real pleasure for eyes! Because of this vegetation density, birds are very present throughout the river. Among the most familiar of these, we can see the grey heron, the little egret, the tern, also called “seatern” thanks to its v-shaped tail. From April at the end of September, the Vedettes de l’Odet offer you several ways to discovering mystic river: the Great Blue Cruise, the Great Green Cruise, Pink Cruise or Lunch Cruise, the choice is yours! Aigrette, the panoramic boat-restaurant When you chose the Lunch Cruise along the Odet river, you take place inside our amazing boat-restaurant, Aigrette! Onboard, you will have the opportunity to taste special dishes made by our talented Chef! It is to say: traditionnal meals, composed of meat, fish or shellfish, exclusively of local import! Your cruise will start at midday (12:00am) and will last about 3 hours. Our haidwaiter will welcome you and show you the table you have booked. Our restaurant capacity is about 110 people and everyone has the same access to a panoramic view on the Odet. Your lunch will only be enhanced by the beauty of the Odet! Moreover, our talented guide will count you some very interesting Bretton stories and legends. He (or she) will inform you abour every single castle, manor house or different sea birds that you will notice.
