More about the “Corentin” sailing boat
The “Corentin” has an exceptional length of 32 metres. It is an exact replica of former 18th-19th century trading boats. It can be recognised by its three masts and a thin yellow stripe running along its black hull. This boat was built and launched in Quimper, and was called “Corentin” after the patron saint of the town and of its cathedral.
For a long time, the centre of Quimper was a great seaport. Nowadays, the port has exclusively historical use. However, the “Corentin” sailing boat often spends the winter months anchored alongside the Henriot ceramics factory.
Departures from Concarneau marina from 18th June to 8th september 2019.
