Description
Embark on an hour-long discovery cruise in the heart of Bénodet Bay! Along the way, discover the most beautiful sites of the bay and the Odet estuary.
The cruise begins with a journey up the Odet River to the Pont de Cornouaille (Cornouaille Bridge) before admiring the charming port of Sainte-Marine, a true Breton postcard scene. The boat then enters the Odet estuary, marked by the Coq lighthouse in Bénodet and the Sainte-Marine lighthouse, and heads towards Pointe Saint Gilles and Letty, a magnificent stretch of white sand that conceals the Mer Blanche (White Sea), a paradise for water sports and shellfish gathering.
The cruise continues along the Bénodet seafront with its beach huts, its coastal path, and its lively promenade. The boat crosses the bay to the Île-Tudy beach, where buoys mark the mussel farms in the open sea. Before returning to the port of Bénodet, the Minaret, a Moorish style villa on the banks of the Odet River, deserves some explanation from your guide, as do the Ty Napoléon house and the Sainte Marine Sailors’ Shelter. The return to the port of Bénodet concludes this invigorating seaside interlude.

A one-hour boat trip we took during our holiday in Bénodet. A lovely trip with a very professional guide. Absolutely no complaints.
We chose Les vedettes de l’Odet for our little cruise on the Odet with our 2-year-old daughter. We were given a very warm welcome by the staff. Our guide was smiling and friendly. A little boat trip to do! A must!
We bought tickets for the short cruise at 11.30am. For a Saturday in the middle of August, we were rather surprised as the boat wasn’t full. It wasn’t too windy on the way up but very windy on the way back. The person speaking at the microphone described the cruise in French and English. Pushchairs are accepted and you can stand up (for children who are a bit restless). The seats are not numbered. 1st on board, 1st to sit where you want. Price for 8 people: 5 adults, 2 children aged 8 and 12 and a 2-year-old: €124. Very happy with this trip on the Odet. Frankly, I recommend it because it’s great fun.
