Description
Come aboard at Benodet’s old port and discover the region where you’ll be spending your vacations. The Odet river is the link between two different Breton regions : “Pays Bigouden” and “Pays Fouesnantais”.
Passing under the Cornouaille Bridge, we quickly understand the dimension of the “countries” and immerse ourselves in a surprising past, so real and yet not so ancient! All along the way, sea and river birds accompany you along the banks and in the air.
Enjoy the elegance of little egrets, rub shoulders with solitary grey herons and admire the ballet of terns, those graceful sea swallows. The lucky ones catch a glimpse of the kingfisher diving for its prey. Along the banks, a succession of rhododendrons, azaleas, oaks, firs and other arboreal species add sparkle to the thick forest that lines both shores, where lively legends hint at the presence of imaginary characters.
The guide who accompanies you, gives a live commentary on the life of this river, its castles and charming residences, its fauna, its flora and its forgotten stories, right up to the Rosulien manor house. The Bonnets Rouges Revolution, the Pérennou Oyster Park, the Kerbirinic Manor and the Rosulien Manor will hold no more secrets for you!

Guest reviews
We chose Les vedettes de l’Odet for our little cruise on the Odet with our 2-year-old daughter. We were given a very warm welcome by the staff. Our guide was smiling and friendly. A little boat trip to do! A must!
A magnificent little cruise on the Odet. Sumptuous landscapes, fauna, flora and superb residences. Things to do!
We bought tickets for the short cruise at 11.30am. For a Saturday in the middle of August, we were rather surprised as the boat wasn’t full. It wasn’t too windy on the way up but very windy on the way back. The person speaking at the microphone described the cruise in French and English. Pushchairs are accepted and you can stand up (for children who are a bit restless). The seats are not numbered. 1st on board, 1st to sit where you want. Price for 8 people: 5 adults, 2 children aged 8 and 12 and a 2-year-old: €124. Very happy with this trip on the Odet. Frankly, I recommend it because it’s great fun.
