Disabled persons

People with reduced mobility are asked to contact Les Vedettes de l’Odet by telephone on 00332 98 57 00 58 to find out about cruise options. The boats are not accessible to electric wheelchairs. Manual wheelchairs can embark subject to certain criteria (type of boat, port of departure, tide times, weather conditions, passenger numbers).

Dogs

Dogs may travel on board the boats, but must be kept on a leash and have no place reserved on the seats. On the Glénan Islands, dogs are allowed on the footpath on a leash, but are not allowed on the beaches. In accordance with the prefectoral decree of January 19, 2018.

Luggage

Each passenger is allowed two pieces of hand baggage. They are kept by the passenger throughout the crossing. Boxes, trunks, parcels, cartons and objects are not considered as baggage. These goods are subject to a tax of €10 per bag, and to specific transport conditions.

Parking

For easy access to the pier, see the departure port page for address and parking tips. All departure ports have free parking nearby, except Concarneau.

Advice for the Glénan Islands

We advise you to travel to the Glenan Islands with sun protection (hat, sunglasses, cream, parasol…) and to pack a picnic lunch for day cruises.

If you’d like to have lunch in one of the two restaurants on Saint Nicolas Island, remember to reserve your table.

For families with young children, we recommend a half-day visit to the Glenan Islands. You can bring your stroller with you, as the decking is suitable, but we will ask you to fold your stroller on board.

Simple return from the Glénan islands

Passengers wishing to stay on the Glenan Islands can book their outward journey (from the mainland to the islands) several days before their cruise.

For the return trip, passengers will contact us by telephone on 00332 98 57 00 58 from 8.30 am to book their return trip (from Ile St Nicolas to the mainland) with remote payment by credit card.

The company does not take advance bookings for single returns. Subject to availability, it will be possible to embark in the late morning or late afternoon. If the boat is full, the company will not be able to connect passengers.
